Code of Conduct

Players
· Learn and understand the laws of the game.
· Beat opponents by skill and not by unfair means.
· Do not argue with the referee or other match officials.
· Maintain your self-control at all times and never retaliate.
· Do not over celebrate or goad the opposition.
· Accept the instructions of your coach without question.
· Accept victory modestly and defeat graciously. Your team will be judged by your behaviour.
Parents/supporters
· Show you appreciate good football by clapping and cheering.
· Give a warm and generous welcome to both teams.
· Cheer for your team but recognise and applaud good football from the opposition too.
· Encourage the team in general but avoid giving specific instructions to individual players.
· Never argue with, or openly criticise, the referee, linesmen or other team’s coaches, players or supporters.
· Recognise skill, enthusiasm and sporting behaviour in both teams.
· Win, lose or draw, appreciate the efforts of all the players, coaches and match officials.

· Treat all squad members fairly and equally irrespective of age, sex, race and ability.

· Encourage members to learn and understand the Laws of the Game.

· Encourage members to win by skill and not by unfair means.

· Do not argue with or openly criticize the referee or other match officials.

· Maintain your self control at all times.

· Encourage players frequently and criticize constructively.

· Teach players to accept victory modestly and defeat graciously.

· Recognize skill, enthusiasm and sporting behaviour in both teams.

· Win, lose or draw appreciate the efforts of all the players and officials.

· Always show the same level of enthusiasm you expect from your players.

· Respect our Club’s and opponent’s property and facilities.
